and an International buyer from the Middle East.
Over the past 20+ years, our client has built a unique business with a reputable and trusted brand. Intellectual property sits within their in-house systems and timing technology for race-based sporting events. This business is highly scalable with high levels of repeat customer business. The potential of this business was quickly recognised by several trade buyers and investors with the successful bidder being an international buyer from the Middle East.
We are delighted to have secured this deal during these challenging business times, especially as our client had to postpone all business events until the Autumn due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The fundamentals behind this deal remain solid with both buyer and seller making allowances for the current situation and allowing some flexibility with an extended completion date.
